Black Stars forward, Antoine Semenyo has won the November Player of the Month award at AFC Bournemouth following an impressive run of form.

The Ghana international was in fine form for the Cherries as they picked six out of nine points in the month.

Semenyo starred as Bournemouth defeated Newcastle United and Sheffield United in November, serving an assist in the victory over the Blades.

The 24-year-old beat competition from Marcus Tarvenier, Dominic Solanke and Ryan Christie to win the coveted prize. Semenyo pulled 38.6% of the votes to emerge the winner of the Player of the Month award, as reported by the club's official website.

The strong forward was on target as Bournemouth shared the spoils with Aston Villa in a thrilling encounter at the Vitality Park last weekend.

"I think we play well as a team, we train hard together and I feel the manager's tactics after coming together now, I mean we are slowly building, going through this tough period, and hopefully get some more wins. I mean we were unlucky with the draw today but it's a point. It is better than nothing," said Semenyo after the game, as quoted by Ghana Soccernet.

Semenyo joined AFC Bournemouth in January 2023 and has since been an integral member of the team, scoring three Premier League goals this season.

Bournemouth are on a run of four games without defeat, winning three and draining one.

Semenyo earns praise from fans after Ghana game

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Antoine Semenyo was all over the internet following his impressive display as the Black Stars came from a goal down to beat the Central African Republic.

The AFC Bournemouth star climbed off the bench to serve the assist for the winner as the Black Stars secured their qualification to the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Semenyo was also denied a goal after his strike hit the crossbar late in the game.
