According to the former Liverpool striker, Real Madrid’s new signing is already a star.

The 17-year-old Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa, known as Endrick, has earned a lot of admiration for his performances for Palmeiras, and Suarez is one of those admirers.

As noted by AS, Suarez had a lot of praise for the youngster at ESPN’s Bola de Prata Awards.

“He is already a star. He’s still very young, taking his first steps. But I think what he’s achieved this year is incredible. He’ll be a star for Brazil, Real Madrid and soccer for many years to come,” he said.

The ex-Barcelona star also added that he wished Endrick was joining his former side.

Why is Endrick so highly rated?

Seen as the next generation of Brazilian superstars, Endrick made 60 appearances for Palmeiras in the recently concluded season.

As noted by Transfermarkt, he scored 17 goals and notched up two assists in all competitions, helping Palmeiras secure the Brazilian league title ahead of Suarez’s Gremio.

Endrick reaches Neymar's goal-scoring feat

Endrick is just 17, but the inbound Real Madrid forward is already being compared with some of Brazil’s greats.

The Brazilian teenager was on the scoresheet for his club, his 11th strike of the season, Sports Brief reported.

The youngster became the first 17-year-old to reach double figures across a single Serie A season since Neymar.

Endrick debuts ‘Golden’ boots in Brazil

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Endrick marked his home debut for the Brazilian national team lacing up a pair of golden signature edition Tekela v4 boots from New Balance.

Endrick came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute for Barcelona's Raphinha, but could not alter Brazil's fate in the match at the iconic Maracana Stadium.

Despite his limited game time against Argentina during the match, it was the new Real Madrid signing's choice of footwear that really caught the eye of fans.
