FootballKylian Mbappe: Real Madrid Outlines Transfer Plans, Issues Deadline to PSG Star
- Real Madrid are in for French forward Kylian Mbappe again
- The La Liga club are set to swoop for their longtime target
- Los Blancos have reportedly set a deadline for the transfer of the forward
Real Madrid are set to renew another instalment of what has always been an ever-cinematic transfer pursuit of forward Kylian Mbappe.
The La Liga giants who have been longtime admirers of the forward, are on the charge again for the Paris Saint-Germain star.
The saga for Mbappe heralded the summer transfer window with reports from Marca stating the 24-year-old sent his current club, PSG a letter stating his intent not to extend his stay at the club.
While it initially seemed like the transfer was favouring Real Madrid, the situation took a surprising turn when the leadership of the Parisian club reached an unexpected compromise with the forward, throwing a wrench into Los Blancos' pursuit.
Nevertheless, it appears that the Spanish club have gleaned valuable lessons from past experiences and is taking measures to avoid a recurrence of such setbacks with their latest offer for the sought-after forward.
Real Madrid's new Mbappe offer
Reports from Diario AS via Madrid Zone reveal that Real Madrid is tabling an offer for Mbappe in January, providing the French captain with a mere 15 days to respond to the proposed transfer. Aware that Mbappe will become a free agent the following summer, allowing him to negotiate with any club from the beginning of the new year, Los Blancos aim to finalise the deal before PSG, still holding out hope for a contract renewal, can make another move.
There is speculation that this latest contract offer from Real Madrid represents the club's final attempt to secure the France captain, and if the agreement falls through, the door to Mbappe's aspiration of playing for the La Liga giant will be firmly closed.
