Bernard Parker has been in the news majorly about the horror injury he suffered against Mamelodi Sundowns a few months ago, but he is back in the spotlight celebrating his TS Galaxy qualification to the Carling Knockout Cup final.
TS Galaxy defeated AmaZulu FC 3-2 in the semi-final clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday, December 3.
The Rockets set up a final clash with Stellenbosch FC in the final at the same stadium they defeated AmaZulu on December 16.
Parker, despite still recovering from a leg-break injury, took to his official page on Instagram to share his team's wild celebration in the dressing room after defeating AmaZulu.
The South African veteran midfielder won't be available for selection for the final against Stellenbosch FC due to his long-time injury but will receive a medal if the Rockets eventually clinch the title.
TS Galaxy's focus is now on their next game in the DStv Premiership against in-form Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday, December 9, according to a report by Soccerway.
The Rockets are still tenth on the PSL table and need a win against the Bucs to move ahead of Polokwane City or Kaizer Chief.
