TS Galaxy midfielder, Bernard Parker was spotted in training for the first time since his horror injury against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Carling Knockout Cup.

The veteran South African midfielder suffered a leg break after a horror tackle by Bongani Zungu in the competition's quarter-final fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 37-year-old has since given a positive update on his recovery and was also seen in training for the first time since the unfortunate event.

In a viral video on social media, the former Bafana Bafana midfielder was seen on the training pitch. The TS Galaxy star also took to his official page on Instagram to share his training videos.

Parker's training video stirred different reactions from fans, many of whom were surprised to see how fast his recovery was progressing.

Mokwena defends Zungu over Parker tackle

Sports Brief also recently reported on Rulani Mokwena's comments after Parker's horror injury.

The Sundowns coach did not condone the tackle but claimed fans' reactions were disappointing.

Mokwena relayed how Zungu, who has since apologised to Parker, was 'abused' on social media.
