Toni Kroos delivered a remarkable assist, propelling Real Madrid to take the lead against Granada at the Santiago Bernabeu in a Spanish La Liga encounter on Saturday.

The iconic midfielder once again showcased a moment of individual brilliance to tee up Brahim Diaz for the opening goal of the game in the 26th minute.

Receiving the ball just beyond the opposition box from the goalscorer, Kroos slided an inch-perfect pass through to the 24-year-old, per Total Cristiano.

It was a perfect, first-time volley which cut Granada apart and dropped perfectly at the feet of Diaz.

It's the kind of move so flawless that you wouldn't even expect to see it in video games because it's too perfect.

Real Madrid thump Granada

Sports Brief earlier reported that Rodrygo extended his impressive goal-scoring streak, contributing to Real Madrid's comfortable 2-0 victory over Granada on Saturday and reclaiming the lead in La Liga.

Following Girona's 2-1 victory over Valencia, the Catalan minnows briefly claimed the top spot. However, Madrid reclaimed the position above them on goal difference on a calm evening in the capital.

Brahim Diaz scored the first goal in the middle of the first half, and Rodrygo extended the lead after 57 minutes at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Brazilian forward has netted seven goals in his most recent five games across all competitions, making a timely impact to sustain Madrid's strong start to the season despite several absences.

Kroos blasts Veiga

Sports Brief earlier reported on Kroos terming Gabri Veiga's move to Al-Ahli as "embarrassing".

Veiga had a breakout 2022/23 season, which attracted some top clubs in Europe, like Napoli and some in England. However, Al-Ahli won the race for his signature.

The 21-year-old is set to become the latest star from a European club to join Al-Ahli. This summer alone, they have signed Edouard Mendy, Riyad Mahrez, Roger Ibanez, Allan Saint-Maximin, Franck Kessie, and Merih Derimal
