Ghanaian midfielder Yaw Yeboah's dream of winning the Major League Soccer title is still alive after starring in Columbus Crew's Eastern Conference triumph.

The 26-year-old played a key role as the Gold and Blacks staged a sensational comeback to beat FC Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference final.

Yeboah started and lasted 76 minutes as Columbus Crew defeated Cincinnati 3-2 at the TQL Stadium.

The 2020 champions got off to a poor start after Brandon Vazquez opened the scoring in the 14th minute following a brilliant move by Cincinnati.

However, with 15 minutes remaining, Columbus Crew bounced back after Alvas Powell directed a cross into his own net before Diego Rossi levelled to force the game into extra-time.

Christian Ramirez scored the winner with five minutes left in extra-time as Columbus Crew clinched the title in a thrilling contest in the 'Hell is Real' derby.

Columbus Crew will now face holders LAFC in the final of the MLS Cup.

Yeboah has been influential at Crew this season, appearing in all five games in the playoffs, and providing an assist. He also made 31 appearances in the regular season, scoring three goals and providing three assists, per Transfermarkt.
