The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga is one of the longest-running sagas in recent memory.
The Paris Saint-Germain international has been heavily linked with Real Madrid for years now, but a deal has never materialized.
The Spanish giants are reportedly looking to make one final attempt to sign the France international next year.
Mbappe's contract ends in the summer of 2024, and the 24-year-old is reportedly not looking to sign an extension anytime soon.
The World Cup winner was on the verge of joining Real Madrid in 2022 but inked a new deal with PSG instead. However, his relationship with the club, especially with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, deteriorated in the summer.
According to Sky Sports, Mbappe told PSG he won't leave the club in the summer under any circumstances. The French star rejected a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, who had made a world-record bid to sign him.
The forward was omitted from training and the preseason tour of Japan and South Korea. He returned to training just before the season started and has been in red-hot form since. He has scored 17 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions.

Real Madrid released a statement last month denying that they had entered into negotiations with Mbappe. The Los Blancos could start talking to Mbappe next month about a possible deal.
