Real Madrid have been hit by numerous injuries of late, but now they could be without their number-one star.
Jude Bellingham has stolen the show in Spain since signing for Los Blancos, but could now face a spell on the sidelines.
As noted by Football Espana, Bellingham is a serious doubt for Madrid’s upcoming game against Granada, as he appeared to have picked up an issue in training.
The Englishman first tried to run but didn’t look very happy while doing so.
He was then seen speaking to the coaching staff before leaving for the dressing room after just 10 minutes. It’s believed this is not related to his recent shoulder injury.
Bellingham may require surgery
The 20-year-old has been suffering with his shoulder for almost a month now after he dislocated it against Rayo Vallecano.
Goal noted that Bellingham may need surgery on it but is instead playing through the pain. Should he go under the knife, he could be out of action for up to two months while he recovers.
The youngster has been crucial to Madrid's success this season, and they would hate to lose his services for so long.
Ancelotti downplays injury concerns
Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti has downplayed any concerns that Bellingham has been injured.
The Italian manager recently made a statement after the Englishman left training, saying there was no reason to panic.
