FootballThomas Tuchel Raises Eyebrows As He Appears in Bayern Munich Champions League Training With Turtle
- Bayern Munich are gearing up for their clash against FC Copenhagen
- Coach Thomas Tuchel showed up in training with a Turtle
- Fans have wasted little time reacting to the gesture by the manager
Thomas Tuchel surprised many when he showed up at Bayern Munich's final training session before their Champions League clash with FC Copenhagen, accompanied by a cuddly turtle.
The 50-year-old, known for his sense of humour, left many intrigued with this unexpected gesture.
Speculations arose, with some linking it to a potential signing of Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe, while others attributed different meanings to Tuchel's action.
However, German media outlet Bild cited by @iMiaSanMia, disclosed the actual reason behind Tuchel showing up in training with a Turtle.
Reason behind Tuchel’s Turtle gesture
According to the outlet, Tuchel brought the cuddly turtle to assist his daughter with a school project. The international school in Munich had assigned her the task of explaining her parents' professions for a career planning project, but with a unique twist: instead of using people, stuffed animals were to represent the parents in the photos.
While Bild provided clarity on the motive behind Tuchel's turtle appearance, fans on social media remained unconvinced and continued to connect it with the rumoured signing of Mbappe.
@xsondx linked the turtle to Mbappe, expressing anticipation for the football star's arrival, while @xdSkilzy believed Tuchel, who was spotted taking a picture, sent the turtle photo to Mbappe as a signal of his imminent move to Bayern.
In a humorous tone, @LeroyPrince77 declared,
"We got Mbappe at the Allianz."
@w4nner7489, seemingly trolling Bayern fans, presented the turtle as the Mbappe they were getting.
