FootballAnsu Fati Does LeBron James ‘Silencer’ Celebration After Making a Jump Shot
- Ansu Fati would make a great NBA shooting guard, as evidenced by a recent video
- The Brighton star was seen settling into his new surroundings by playing basketball
- The 21-year-old made a great jump shot before emulating LeBron James' celebration
Brighton and Hove Albion star Ansu Fati, on loan from Barcelona, was spotted copying LeBron James' iconic 'silencer' celebration after sinking a jump shot.
The forward recently sustained an injury over the weekend, and it is unclear how long he will be out.
Recently, the La Masia graduate posted a video on his Instagram of himself playing basketball in Brighton with some local players. He received a bounce pass and got to his shooting form before knocking down a jumper from the corner.
He then proceeded to do LeBron James' famous 'Silencer' celebration. It seems he is enjoying his time in his new home after leaving his childhood club.
Ansu Fati has made a decent start to his Brighton career. The 21-year-old has scored four goals in 14 appearances, but the latest injury is a concern, considering he has missed plenty of time with injury.
History of LeBron's 'silencer' celebration
James broke out the 'silencer' celebration in 2014 after hitting a game-winner against the Golden State Warriors. He was still a member of the Miami Heat, per NBA History.
Since then, fans and sports stars like Usain Bolt have imitated the famous celebration. However, in the last few years, we have seen less and less of the celebration.
Since he calls himself King James, he introduced the 'crown' celebration, which isn't as popular as the 'silencer', which remains one of the most popular celebrations in the 21st century, just like Cristiano Ronaldo's 'Siuuu' celebration.
