Having won numerous titles in three different countries, Pep Guardiola is arguably one of the most successful coaches in the world.

Most of the credit usually goes to the players, but the buck stops with the manager and his ability to turn 'nobodies' into a team that can actively compete for titles.

Guardiola will be angling to become the first manager in Premier League's history to win four successive top-flight titles this season.

Manchester City took an early lead in the table, winning their first six matches before a surprise loss at Wolves. Back-to-back draws against Chelsea and Liverpool saw Arsenal displace them as table-toppers in the Premier League standings going into December.

Inside Pep Guardiola's 'tactics'

Speaking after their game against Liverpool, the Spanish tactician revealed that it took him less than 10 minutes to pass his planned tactics for the showdown against Jurgen Klopp's men.

A journalist further quizzed him on how his players could absorb all the information quickly, to which he credited his physical looks as a stronghold.

"Because I am really good. I am a handsome man. I seduce them and we do it!" he told Hayters TV.

More seriously, the former Barcelona boss insisted that it was important for his players to learn from their mistakes in the previous games.

"We talk about specific things. Afterwards, they make mistakes, but they understand what they need to do."

City's next game will be a UEFA Champions League home tie against RB Leipzig on November 28. Both sides are already through to the round of 16, but City needs a point to confirm their place as group winners.

Man City's conversion rates in EPL

Sports Brief also reported on the Premier League teams with the best conversion rates, as Manchester City came in second after 12 games.

Conversion rate takes into account the number of shots a team has had this season relative to the number of goals that have been scored.

In this sense, Manchester United ranks relatively low in terms of conversion, as they have been among the bluntest in the EPL this season.
