Real Madrid-bound Endrick acknowledges Cristiano Ronaldo as his "idol" and expresses his "pride" in following the path of the Portuguese star.
Upon turning 18 in July 2024, the teenager will fulfil his dream move to Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants have already secured his signature in a €60 million deal, with an initial payment of €35m and an additional €25m in add-ons.
Endrick is thrilled to be part of the Spanish giants, where Ronaldo made his mark for over a decade, considering the legendary player as one of his "greatest idols."
Speaking to Daily Mail, via GOAL, he said: "My dream since I was little, has always been to play for Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of my biggest idols. So it is a great pride to know that I will wear the same shirt he wore."
Endrick aims to be in the lineup for Brazil in Thursday's World Cup qualifier against Colombia. Meanwhile, Ronaldo found the net for Portugal in a Euro 2024 qualifier against Liechtenstein.
Endrick's career at Palmeiras
The remarkable goal-scoring prowess of the Brazilian sensation is evident in his record, having scored 165 goals in 169 matches for Palmeiras' youth teams, per Talksport.
The youngster has made a significant impact at his current club, tallying 15 goals and providing two assists in his first 56 appearances.
He inked a contract with Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports agency, solidifying his association as the prominent figure for New Balance once he concludes his existing deal with Nike.
