Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's career has been interesting in the last few seasons. He left Arsenal in unceremonious circumstances in February 2022, joined Barcelona briefly, then played for Chelsea and has now settled in France with Olympique Marseille.
The striker says his brief spell at Barcelona was the best in his long career.
Aubameyang joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in 2018, and he quickly became one of the best strikers in the Premier League, even winning the Golden Boot in the 2018/19 season.
He also became captain of the club, but things slowly started to go south a few years later. His relationship with Mikel Arteta broke down due to disciplinary issues, resulting in him losing the armband before eventually leaving the club.
He scored 92 goals in 163 appearances at Arsenal.
At Barcelona, he experienced some sort of renaissance. He scored 13 goals in 24 matches in just four months at the club and had several standout performances.
