  • Manchester United have won four of their last five Premier League games this season
  • Their most recent outing ended in a 1-0 win over Luton Town at Old Trafford
  • The victory fired them to sixth in the standings with 21 points

Manchester United are the most in-form team in the Premier League, at least going by their last five top-flight games.

The Red Devils endured a slow start to the 2023/24 campaign across competitions, leaving Erik ten Hag under immense pressure.

United registered just four wins in 10 of their opening games in all competitions, with some of their defeats coming at the hands of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Crystal Palace.

However, the Old Trafford dwellers have appeared to pick up some momentum in recent weeks, especially in the Premier League.

According to ESPN, United have won more points in their last five Premier League games than any other team in the division.

Man United form in the last five games

United have collected 12 points from five of their last EPL games, with their only defeat during the period coming against rivals Manchester United.

Brentford, Sheffield United, and Fulham are the other teams ten Hag's charges have played, with the side winning all the fixtures.

Their most recent outing ended in a 1-0 slim win over Luton Town on Saturday at Old Trafford.

Goal reports that Victor Lindelof scored the only goal of the match in the second half after he was set up by Rasmus Hojlund.

The win fired United to sixth in the Premier League standings with 21 points, and will be hoping to build on the momentum when they play Everton after the international break.

United resolve to sell Sancho

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Manchester United have reportedly resolved to offload Jadon Sancho ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

With his strained relationship with ten Hag seemingly beyond repair, reports claim United chiefs have decided to part ways with the England international.
