Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew has joined Ligue 1 side, Le Havre AC after five months without a club.
The 33-year-old returned to Europe to sign a deal that will see him stay at the French club until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The former Olympique Marseille forward is expected to play a key role at the club due to his enormous experience in the French league.
The club shared the news on social media along with a video confirming his signing:
"Looking for a new challenge, André Ayew therefore chose to join Ciel and Marine to find in Ligue 1," the post is translated as saying.
Before returning to France, Ayew spent time in England, playing for West Ham United, Swansea City, and most recently Nottingham Forest.
Between his time in the Premier League, the attacking midfielder also featured for Fenerbache and Al Sadd in Turkey and Qatar, respectively.
Ayew's move to France is being seen as a massive boost for Ghana ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ayew named in Ghana squad for WC qualifiers
Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Ayew returning to the Ghana squad as coach, Chris Hughton named his team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The 33-year-old missed the international friendlies against the USA and Mexico last month but has been recalled for the November international series.
Ghana, the four-time African champions, will host Madagascar on November 17 before travelling to Comoros Island for their second group-stage game.

Sports Brief also reported on ex-Black Stars midfielder, Charles Asampong Taylor calling for the 'urgent' return of Ayew and Mubarak Wakaso ahead of next month's World Cup qualifiers.
Ayew was dropped ahead of Ghana's set of international friendlies against Mexico and the United States while Wakaso has not received a call-up since the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The frailties of the four-time African champions were clearly exposed during the two friendlies this month, which saw a 2-0 defeat to El Tri and a 4-0 mauling versus the Stars and Stripes.
