The Republic of Ireland international has signed a contract extension with Brighton and Hove Albion, with his new deal lasting until June 2029.
The highly-rated 19-year-old committed his future to the Premier League club earlier this week.
Brighton are delighted to lock up one of the league’s top young talents for the next six years.
De Zerbi praises Ferguson after contract extension
Head coach, Roberto De Zerbi released a statement saying:
"Evan deserves this new contract, and he has a very big future ahead of him.”
Brighton’s technical director, David Weir also praised Ferguson in his statement, saying they are delighted for the 'brilliant young talent'.
Ferguson contributing to Brighton's hot start
Ferguson has been a vital cog for Brighton this season, scoring five goals in 10 Premier League matches, per Sky Sports.
He played his best match this season in the game against Newcastle, scoring a hat-trick in a 3-1 victory.
They are currently in seventh place in the team standings with 18 points from 11 games. Brighton are also doing well in their first foray in Europe.
They are coming off a 2-0 victory over Ajax in the Europa League, their first away win in the continent.
