Super Eagles star, Victor Boniface has reacted after being linked with a sensational transfer move to La Liga giants, Real Madrid in the summer.

The Nigerian international has been one of the revelations of the season in the top five European leagues, catching the eyes of many big clubs.

Boniface is rated as one of the best strikers of the moment alongside the likes of Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, and his compatriot Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian international has been enjoying a good spell under Spanish manager, Xabi Alonso since joining German outfit, Bayer Leverkusen from Belgian side, Union SG last summer.

In his first two months in the Bundesliga, the Super Eagles striker has been awarded the Player of the Month once and Rookie of the Month twice due to his top-notch performances.

Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring the progress of Boniface, with the former FK Bodø/Glimt star having scored 10 goals and provided six assists in all competitions this season.

Amid being linked with a move to Los Blancos, the 22-year-old claimed that Bayer Leverkusen was ideal for him, according to a report by Brila FM.

"Bayer Leverkusen are the perfect club for me because they develop young players like me," the Nigerian international said.

Real Madrid are not the only European big club monitoring the progress of Boniface, with Juventus and Manchester City also said to be keeping tabs.

Premier League club interested in Boniface

Sports Brief has previously reported on Premier League side, Newcastle reportedly being interested in Boniface joining them next term.

The Nigerian striker has been in impressive form for Bayer Leverkusen since joining the club from Belgian outfit, Union SG in the summer.

The Magpies reportedly sent scouts to watch Boniface play for the Super Eagles during their friendly against Saudi Arabia on October 13.
