Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City are the top three favourites to win the competition this season and have comfortably reached the last 16. But which are the other teams that have qualified?

Champions League last 16 qualified teams

Real Madrid - Spain

The 14-time European Champions sealed their place in the last 16 with a dramatic 3-0 win over Portuguese side Braga on matchday 4.

They had won their last three matches in the competition this season and boast a 100% record after four games alongside Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

The Spanish giants have now reached the Champions League last 16 for the 26th consecutive season.

Bayern Munich - Germany

The German champions are through to the knockout stage as Group A winners after a 2-1 win at home over Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Thomas Tuchel's side have now reached the last 16 16 times in a row since the Round of 16 was introduced in the 2003/04 season.

Bayern have also won their last 17 games in the group stage and are unbeaten in 38 games in the group stages. Moreover, they've also won 28 of their last 29 games at home in the competition.

Manchester City - England

The defending champions beat Young Boys 3-0 on matchday 4 to reach the knockout stage for the 11th season in a row.

Man City beat Inter Milan to win the competition for the first time last season and are the favourites again this season.

They've reached the semi-finals twice (2021/22, 2015/16) and quarter-finals three times (2019/20, 2018/19, 2017/18).

Inter Milan - Italy

The Italian giants are looking to repeat their run to the final last season. They have comfortably made it to the Round of 16 after beating Salzburg 1-0 on matchday 4.

They are second in Group D with 10 points, the same as Real Sociedad, who also qualified for the Round of 16. Simone Inzaghi's side famously won the Champions League in 2010 and came close last season.

They'll be looking to win the group in the remaining two games.

Real Sociedad - Spain

The Spanish side are through to the last 16 thanks to a dominant 3-1 win over Benfica on matchday 4.

The Spanish side have reached the knockout stage for the first time since the 20023/04 campaign. Their best performance in the competition was when they reached the semis in the 1982/83 season.

RB Leipzig - Germany

The German side are into the Round of 16 after beating Crvena Zvezda 2-1 on Matchday 4.

Leipzig are second in Group G with nine points, three behind Man City. They are in the last 16 for the fourth time in the last five seasons. Their best performance was in the 2019/20 season, where they reached the semi-finals.

Arsenal, Napoli, and Barcelona could reach the last 16 if they win their next games later this month.
