Thomas Muller reached another landmark in the Champions League on Wednesday, November 8, after Bayern's 2-1 win against Turkish giants Galatasaray.
The German forward became the player with the second most wins in the Champions League behind Cristiano Ronaldo. Bayern booked their spot in the last 16 after a brace from Harry Kane.
The 34-year-old has seen his playing time reduce significantly this season as competition for places heats up. In the Champions League, he has made three appearances but only played 66 minutes.
In total, he has played 13 games for Bayern this season, starting just four games. Jamal Musiala is now first choice for the attacking midfield position, forcing Muller to play a back-up role.
The World Cup winner has played for Bayern since 2009, won plenty of silverware, and set several records along the way. Only Gerd Muller and Robert Lewandowski have scored more goals for Bayern than Muller.
No player has more Bundesliga titles (11) than Muller.

Muller came on for the injured Musiala in the 40th minute and played the entire game. He not only helped Bayern secure their spot in the last 16 but also made Champions League history.
Muller reached 100 wins when Bayern beat Manchester United 4-3 on Matchday 1. He now has 102 wins in 145 games in Europe's premier competition, per BR Football. Iker Casillas is third with 101 wins.

Muller jokes with Kane
Sports Brief earlier reported on Muller joking with Harry Kane after the England striker bagged a hat-trick in his Der Klassiker debut versus Borussia Dortmund.
While Kane was still celebrating in the stadium with his match ball, Muller said his teammate's hotel room would get smaller because of all the match balls he was collecting.
"Your hotel room gets smaller and smaller now, huh?"
