Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch has made a promise to the Buccaneers fans ahead of their Soweto derby clash with Kaizer Chief this weekend.
The 30-year-old was in action for the Bucs as they defeated Sekhukhune United 1-0 at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday, November 7.
Thabiso Monyane's goal in the 79th minute sealed a deserving win for Pirates, with Lorch being named the man of the match.
In an interview with SuperSport after the game, the South African international shared his thoughts about the game, according to iDiskiTimes.
"It was very important to get maximum points, we have not been doing well," he said.
Furthermore, the Orlando Pirates star made bold promises to the Bucs fans as they face their archrivals, Kaizer Chiefs, in their next Premier Soccer League game.
"It’s another tough game, tough opponent, I think we’re off tomorrow, we need to recover, and we’ll see, we have to plan for that like all other games. [We can promise] a win, we’re going there to win, every game we play, we want three points, we going there to win," he added.
The Buccaneers will face the Amakhosi on Saturday afternoon at the FNB Stadium.
