- Lamptey missed the recent international break due to an injury
Tariq Lamptey has been presented with a flashy new ride by Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex as the Player of the Month for October at Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Ghanaian wing-back played a pivotal role during the month for the Seagulls, especially during their UEFA Europa League game against Marseille.
Brighton came from two goals down to draw at the Stade Velodrome, with Lamptey also delivering a brace of assists in the Premier League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
In photos shared on social media by the English club, Lamptey is spotted with his new Porsche at the Brighton training grounds.
The Ghanaian recently returned from an injury that kept him out for two weeks and was part of the team for their trip to Everton.
"Pervis is not available, but Tariq is on the list tomorrow," coach Roberto De Zerbi told reporters before the Everton game, as quoted by Yahoo.com.
"I don't know how long Pervis is out for, and it's a difficult situation. I don't want to take risks. He has been injured for one month, so we have to be sure when he's back," he added.
Lamptey is expected to start in the Europa League game against Ajax Amsterdam on Thursday.
Lamptey wins MoTM against Man United
Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Lamptey being named Brighton's best player after his performance in the win over Man United recently.
The 22-year-old wing-back provided a brace of assists as the Seagulls ended the Red Devils' home invincibility with a surprising 3-1 win.
Lamptey, who missed the international break due to injury, was handed his first start since March when he came off early versus West Ham.

The German-born player made his international debut for Ghana in the recent 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier game against Angola.
Lamptey suffered a knock during Brighton's 4-0 thrashing of West Ham earlier this year and joined a host of stars on the injury bench.
