Despite travelling to Abidjan as minnows, the Ghanaian champions were unfazed by the pedigree of their opponents.

After a sloppy start, Badri took advantage, scoring the opener just 13 minutes into the game.

Ampem Darkoa were quickly awoken from their slumber as they began to find their way back into the match.

Eleven minutes after the break, winger Yeboah, who was a menace down the right, powered home from a ferocious strike from the edge of the box.

Six minutes later, Yeaboah secured the winner for Ampem Darkoa after her cross was turned in by an AS FAR defender.

Ampem Darkoa remained resolute as they held on to secure their first-ever win at the tournament.

Yeaboah was named Woman of the Match following her outstanding performance.

The Ghanaian double winners will next face AS Mande in Group B while the Moroccan giants take on Huracanes FC.
