Ange Postecoglou is fast becoming a fan favourite in Tottenham Hotspur - and deservedly so.

Most points through 10 EPL matches

1. Ange Postecoglou (Tottenham, 26)

Postecoglou is giving Spurs fans reasons to dream after he has guided them to their best start in decades.

Tottenham are the only remaining unbeaten team in the Premier League, recording eight wins and two draws in their first 10 matches this season.

Spurs’ 26-point tally is the highest scored by a manager through his first 10 Premier League games, per Sky Sports.

Postecoglou led Tottenham to victories over Manchester United (2-0), Bournemouth (2-0), Burnley (5-2), Sheffield United (2-1), Liverpool (2-1), Luton Town (1-0), Fulham (2-0), and Crystal Palace (2-1).

The only Premier League matches that the Australian coach failed to get maximum points from were against Brentford (2-2) and Arsenal (2-2).

2. Guus Hiddink (Chelsea, 25)

Before Postecoglou’s hot start, Hiddink held the record for most points scored with 25 from his first 10 Premier League games.

He was appointed manager of Chelsea on February 11, 2009, following the dismissal of Luiz Felipe Scolari.

He got off to a fantastic start, leading the Blues to four consecutive league victories against Aston Villa (1-0), Wigan Athletic (2-1), Portsmouth (1-0), and Manchester City (1-0).

Tottenham handed Hiddink his first Premier League defeat, beating Chelsea 1-0 at White Hart Lane. The Blues bounced back strongly after that loss, though, recording four wins and a draw in their next five matches.

3. Maurizio Sarri (Chelsea, 24)

Sarri got off to a terrific start in his first and only year in charge of Chelsea during the 2018-19 season.

He opened the Premier League season with five consecutive victories against Huddersfield Town, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Bournemouth, and Cardiff City.

The Blues remained unbeaten through 10 league matches, scoring 24 points after recording wins over Southampton and Burnley, and draws against West Ham, Liverpool, and Man United.

3. Carlo Ancelotti (Chelsea, 24)

Ancelotti also had a great start to his Chelsea career, recording eight wins and two defeats in his first 10 league matches in 2009 for a 24-point tally.

He started his coaching stint in the English top flight like a house on fire, recording six straight wins against Hull City, Sunderland, Fulham, Burnley, Stoke City, and Tottenham.

3. John Gregory (Aston Villa, 24)

Gregory was appointed manager of Aston Villa on February 25, 1998, following Brian Little’s resignation.

He got off to a terrific start, leading the Villans to eight wins and two defeats in their next 10 Premier League matches.

Aston Villa qualified for the UEFA Cup thanks to that late surge in the 1997-98 season.

3. Frank Clark (Nottingham Forest, 24)

Clark was appointed manager in May 1993 to succeed the legendary Brian Clough. He was tasked to bring Nottingham Forest back to the Premiership after they got relegated in the 1992-93 season.

The Tricky Trees managed to accomplish that feat, gaining promotion to the Premier League after finishing second in the First Division.

Clark had a great start to his Premier League career as Forest went unbeaten in their first 10 matches in the 1994-95 season.

They recorded seven wins and three draws during that span for an impressive 24-point tally.
