Since his €50 million transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, Ousmane Dembele has struggled to find the back of the net.

The 26-year-old former Barcelona forward is yet to score a goal for his new club despite accumulating over 800 minutes of playing time.

According to statistics from Whoscored, the 2018 World Cup winner has been directly involved in just two goals in his 12 appearances for the Ligue 1 club.

Dembele's difficulty in scoring goals has occasionally made him the target of trolling from fans on social media. However, his teammate Kylian Mbappe took this trolling to another level during a viral interview at an event.

Mbappe's playful dig at Dembele

Mbappe, known for his playful and lighthearted demeanour, continued in the same spirit by playfully teasing Dembele. During an event organised by the OneSight foundation, which aims to provide eye tests for 1,000 underprivileged children, Mbappe humorously suggested that Dembele might need glasses to improve his scoring ability.

Quoted by PSG Report, Mbappe jokingly remarked,

"Who could I give glasses to? Oh well, I could give some to Ousmane Dembélé; it would help him score (laughs). With questions like that, the best thing is to shoot your friends (laughs)."
