Kylian Mbappe's name is poised to dominate another summer transfer window, having declined to extend his contract with French club Paris Saint-Germain during the summer of 2023.
The 24-year-old, entering the final year of his contract, conveyed his decision not to renew it to the hierarchy of the Ligue 1 club, an act which stirred a huge amount of controversy around his future.
According to reports from Diario AS, La Liga giants Real Madrid have not hidden their admiration for the marquee forward, and French outlet PSGTalks recently confirmed that Los Blancos are being spurred to go all out for the forward in 2024.
Nonetheless, amid the ongoing discussions and uncertainty shrouding the French forward's immediate future, Mbappe himself recently reacted to inquiries about his future.
Mbappe's reaction to question on his future
The former Monaco prodigy, who attended the recent Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris, was confronted with a question about his rumoured transfer to Real Madrid.
As reported by Spanish outlet ElchiringuitoTV, when asked,
"Are you coming to Real Madrid next year, Kylian?"
Mbappe responded with a smile and continued walking.
This gesture from the PSG forward further fuels the escalating rumours of his imminent move to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
While Los Blancos fans will have to wait until the summer window to see if their most coveted transfer target will join their club, one thing everyone can agree on is that adding Mbappe to the attacking trio of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo de Goesm and midfielder Jude Bellingham will undoubtedly strike fear into the hearts of many opposing defences.

Mbappe told to leave PSG
In a previous report, Sports Brief stated that Mbappe was told playing in Ligue 1 'hampers his chances' of winning the Ballon d'Or after he lost out in the 2023 edition to Argentina superstar Lionel Messi.
The 24-year-old forward had a phenomenal year, reaching the World Cup final and also winning the French league title with Paris Saint-Germain, but finished third in the Ballon d'Or rankings behind Erling Haaland and Messi.
