Betting on West Ham (3.50)

Things are going from bad to worse for West Ham, having lost all three of their matches since the international break.

Their latest defeat came at the hands of Everton, with the Toffees recording a 1-0 victory at London Stadium.

Edson Alvarez and Lucas Paqueta are both facing Premier League suspensions after they picked up their fifth yellow cards of the season in the loss to Everton.

The good news for the Hammers is that the pair are available to play in the Carabao Cup match against Arsenal as they will serve their bans in the Premier League this weekend against Brentford.

Goalkeeper, Lukasz Fabianski is likely to start for West Ham in the round of 16 after recovering from illness.

The Hammers will have their work cut out for them against the Gunners. They have beaten Arsenal just two times since 2007. Arsenal are unbeaten in their last eight matches against West Ham, per The Standard.

Betting on Arsenal (2.23)

Arsenal will head into their clash against West Ham boasting a rich vein of form. They are unbeaten in their last four matches, recording three wins and a draw during that span.

The Gunners are coming off an emphatic 5-0 victory over Sheffield United in the Premier League last Saturday.

Eddie Nketiah starred for Arsenal in that contest, scoring his first hat-trick in the English top flight, per the BBC.

Arsenal will look to preserve their unbeaten record in domestic competitions this season when they take on West Ham in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

The Gunners will miss the services of injured pair Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey for that contest.

Mikel Arteta may also rest Martin Odegaard for the League Cup match against West Ham after the Arsenal manager revealed that the Gunners captain has been carrying a knock in the past weeks.

Goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale is expected to get the start for Arsenal in the round of 16.
