- Arsenal vs Sheffield United ended in a 5-0 win for the Gunners
- Eddie Nketiah netted a hat-trick to help the hosts see off the Blades before Fabio Vieira and Tomiyasu scored deep in the second half
- The win leaves the north Londoners sitting second in the EPL standings with 24 points
Eddie Nketiah was the man of the moment on Saturday, October 28, as Arsenal demolished Sheffield United 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners went into the tie with the hope of bouncing back to winning ways in the Premier League following last week's 2-2 draw against rivals Chelsea in the London derby.
Mike Arteta named a strong side for the Blades clash, Emile Smith Rowe starting in the middle of the park alongside Bukayo Saka, who skippered the side.
However, it was Nketiah who stole the show, with a sensational hat trick that helped the hosts see off Sheffield United.
The Evening Standard reports that the forward opened the scoring in the 28th minute before he scored two more goals in the second half.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, this was Nketiah's first Premier League hatrick for the Gunners.
