Samuel Eto'o has sent MMA fighter, Francis Ngannou, a goodwill message ahead of his historic bout against boxing heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.
The Cameroonian mixed martial artist will engage the British pugilist in a boxing match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.
Ngannou, a former MMA heavyweight champion, hails from Cameroon and former Barcelona striker, Samuel Eto'o, is backing his compatriot for success.
"You are and will always be our CHAMPION. Good luck for now," wrote Eto'o on Instagram.
The fight has drawn stars from across various sports, with the likes of Ronaldo, Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mike Tyson all in Riyadh for the bout.
"If that overhand right touches him he'll go down," said Ngannou, as quoted by Sky Sports. "I'm very excited and it's going down tomorrow night.
"We are about to give a show for the people. I think this fight will end very quick."
Eto'o has been a huge fan of Ngannou since his early days in the sport and will be hoping he makes history in Saudi Arabia.
