The Saudi Pro League brought in many big-name stars during the recent transfer window.
Many of those stars competed in Europe’s top-flight leagues and are now the most valuable players in the league.
Sports Brief looks at the top ten most valuable players in the league, according to Transfermarkt, with Al-Hilal’s stars leading the way.
1. Neymar – Al-Hilal
The Brazilian made the move from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer despite interest from his former side, Barcelona.
Valued at €50m, Neymar is currently the most valuable player in the league. Unfortunately for Al-Hilal, they will be without their star play after he picked up an injury while on international duty.
As noted by Sky Sports, Neymar will have to undergo surgery.
2. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic – Al-Hilal
Valued at €40m, the Serbian is the second-most valuable star.
Signed from Lazio, he has already played eight games for his new side, scoring two goals in the league. His move from the Serie A to Saudi came as a surprise to many, as the 28-year-old was expected to stay in Europe.
3. Rúben Neves – Al-Hilal
Another of Neymar’s teammates, Neves, is third on the list, also valued at €40m.
The defensive midfielder moved to Al-Hilal from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer for €55m. As noted by Sky Sports, Newcastle could line up a move for Neves in the next transfer window.
4. Fabinho – Al-Ittihad
The Brazilian was one of several Liverpool players who moved to the money-rich league in the summer and is fourth on the list.

The winger was signed for €60m and is currently valued at €35m. It is the highest he has ever been valued in his career.
6. Gabri Veiga – Al-Ahli
At only 21, Veiga is one of the youngest stars to have signed for a Saudi Arabian team.
The league has developed a reputation for signing renowned stars, but Veiga was brought in from Celta de Vigo.
He is currently valued at €30m.
7. Malcom – Al-Hilal
A former Barcelona star, the winger from Brazil also signed for Saudi from a lesser league.

Having signed from Roma for €30m, Ibañez is currently valued at the same amount.
