Thierry Henry is regarded as one of the best strikers ever to play the game but Kylian Mbappe is already shattering his fellow Frenchman’s records in the UEFA Champions League.
The 24-year-old forward bettered Henry’s impressive 11-year-old record as PSG defeated AC Milan 3-0 to revive their ambitions in Europe’s elite club competition.
According to the BBC, Mbappe opened the scoring for PSG against Milan in the 32nd minute, with further goals from Randal Kolo Muani and Lee Kang-in propelling the Parisians to the top of Group F.
The PSG striker is now the first French player to score in eight successive home UCL games, breaking Henry's record of seven between 2001-2002 during his time at Premier League club Arsenal.
Mbappe, who had had a bad patch after going four games without finding the back of the net for the Ligue 1 giants, has now scored 13 goals in 13 games for PSG this season.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain have spent millions to bring in quality players to their team following the exit of Neymar and Lionel Messi, but Kylian Mbappe remains irreplaceable, ESPN reports.
The 24-year-old forward proved how important he is for Luis Enrique’s men after leading their resurgence in the Champions League as they thrashed AC Milan 3-0 on Wednesday night.
PSG have failed to progress beyond the Round of 16 in the UCL in the last two seasons, but with Mbappe leading the line for the Parisians this time, their fans will hope they can finally win the elusive trophy this season.
