FIFA president, Gianni Infantino has expressed delight after he met Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, and their Al-Nassr teammates following their victory over Al-Duhail on Tuesday night.
Ronaldo, Mane, and Anderson Talisca were all on the scoresheet as the Knights of Najd defeated the Qatari giants in a thrilling encounter at the Al-Awwal Stadium.
Infantino, who has been in Saudi Arabia for work, visited the stadium to watch the Asian Champions League clash.
"Cristiano Ronaldo has brought great joy to fans all over the world throughout his glittering career and last night was no different! It was a pleasure to speak with him and his Al-Nassr teammates following their home AFC Champions League victory over Al Duhail," wrote an excited Infantino on Instagram.
"It was a fantastic evening so my thanks go to Al Nassr President Musalli Al-Muammar and President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation Yasser Al Misehal for their hospitality," he added.
Ronaldo is enjoying a prolific campaign in the ongoing season, netting his 20th goal across all competitions after registering a brace against Al-Duhail.
Mane and Ronaldo inspired Al-Nassr to Arab Club Cup Championship success after they beat Al-Hilal in the final in August, as reported by CNN.
