Legendary German goalkeeper, Oliver Kahn spent time with former Bayern Munich winger, Sadio Mane during his recent visit to Saudi Arabia.

The ex-Bayern Munich shot-stopper was given a tour of Al-Nassr's facilities as he arrived in Riyadh last week.

During his time at the club's world-class stadium, Kahn took the opportunity to meet the Senegalese forward whom he helped Bayern Munich sign last season.

The 54-year-old also met five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo.

"Thanks to Al Nassr for hosting me during a training session and showing me their facilities. I had the time to meet up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane. Now back in Germany. It will be interesting to see how Saudi Pro League will develop in the future," Kahn wrote on social media.

Both Mane and Kahn left the Bavarians at the end of the season following a turbulent 2022/23 campaign in the Bundesliga and elsewhere in Europe.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr travelled to Tehran on Monday ahead of their AFC Champions League clash against Iranian giants Persepolis, as reported by CBS Sports.

Young fan dyes hair to meet Mane

Sports Brief also reported on a young Senegalese fan and his brother sharing a heartwarming moment with Mane during the international break.

The Saudi Pro League star joined his national teammates for the games against Rwanda and Algeria as preparations for AFCON 2023 continue.

The African champions drew with Rwanda in the final AFCON qualifier and lost to Algeria in a friendly at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium.

Al-Nassr cancels training session in Iran

Meanwhile, as Sports Brief also reported, Al-Nassr cancelled a training session in Iran due to an overwhelming presence of fans in Tehran.
