Former Chelsea boss, Graham Potter is reportedly a top candidate to replace Erik ten Hag at Manchester United in the event the Dutchman gets sacked.
Potter is currently without a job since April after he was sacked at Stamford Bridge following a string of poor performances.
According to Sky Sports, the Englishman was shown the door after just seven months at the helm of affairs at Chelsea.
Potter had been appointed as Thomas Tuchel's replacement in September 2022 on a five-year deal.
His sacking came after he won only seven of his 22 Premier League games in charge.
Pochettino touted for Man United job
However, the former Brighton boss could make a return to the dugout, with reports claiming he is in the running for the Man United job.
Metro UK reports that the 48-year-old is a top candidate for the Old Trafford role should Ten Hag get the sack.
The former Ajax boss recently came under immense pressure after a disastrous start to the new season.
United have lost nine of their opening Premier League matches, leaving them out of the top four in the league standings.
However, the EPL giants have since got their campaign back on track, recording back-to-back wins.
Their latest win came over bottom-placed Sheffield United over the weekend when they stunned the Blades 2-1 at Bramall Lane.
