Super Eagles star, Terem Moffi has shared his thoughts on Eden Hazard after the Chelsea legend announced his retirement at the age of 32.

Hazard joined the La Liga giants in 2019 from the Blues but failed to meet the expectations during the four seasons he spent at the club.

Moffi has now hailed the former Chelsea legend while reacting to a post by the Premier League’s official page on X (formerly known as Twitter), according to Complete Sports.

Hazard's disastrous club career with Los Blancos can not take away his legendary status in the game, especially considering his time with Lille and Chelsea.

The Belgian forward won the Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France with Lille, while he won virtually every available title with Chelsea except the UEFA Champions League.

The 32-year-old won two Premier League titles and two Europa League trophies with the Blues.

He later won the Champions League in the 2021-22 season during his time with Los Blancos.

The former Belgium national team captain is one of the best players of his generation.

Hazard announces retirement from football

Sports Brief previously reported on Hazard officially ending his football career, retiring at the young age of 32 following a challenging four-year spell in Spain with Real Madrid.

The former Chelsea and Lille star, who had been without a club since leaving Los Blancos in the summer, made the announcement of his retirement on his official page on Instagram.

Hazard also thanked the various clubs he played for as well as the numerous managers who coached him and played a pivotal role in helping him achieve his dream as a footballer.
