Now, former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has weighed in on the discussion, offering his judgment on which of the two football legends he deems superior.

Anthony Joshua's take on Ronaldo vs Messi

Joshua extended his support to the Portuguese sharpshooter, citing his unwavering off-field dedication and the notion that he might need to exert greater effort to reach specific milestones, in contrast to Messi, whom AJ perceives as possessing more innate talent.

The ex-Olympic gold medalist said:

“I am going Cristiano Ronaldo. They are both great, but I feel Messi is more of a natural, Ronaldo really had to work at it. Both work hard, of course, but Ronaldo needed to do more, and did it.”

With five Ballons d'Or awards, 859 goals, and a remarkable collection of 34 trophies throughout his career, Ronaldo boasts one of the most impressive resumes in the history of the game.
