Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have retired from professional football, but he is still going through intense training sessions.
The tall Swedish striker called time on his long and successful career at the end of last season in a teary AC Milan farewell.
Always known to be bullish, Ibrahimovic traversed various leagues, most notably in England, France, Major League Soccer, and Italy, where he excelled.
Ibrahimovic's gymnastics session
A series of injuries as he approached and turned 40 forced him to retire. One would think that he would tone down his workout sessions in retirement, but if his latest social media update is anything to go by, the 42-year-old is not planning on slowing down.
The former Manchester United striker uploaded a video of him doing some gymnastics on the ropes. He showed great agility and control as he swung in between the rings.
He captioned the video;
"The art of power and control."
Ibrahimovic was known for his power on the pitch, scoring 570 career goals before he retired, as captured by Transfermarkt.
Mario Balotelli trolls Ibrahimovic
Sports Brief earlier reported that Mario Balotelli is an equal for Ibrahimovic as a troll and put him in his place after the Swedish superstar criticised the Italian's career, describing it as 'unfulfilled potential'.
Balotelli was a bright prospect during his youth days and was named the 2010 Golden Boy for his exploits in helping Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan win the European treble.
Ibrahimovic was one of the most fearless football stars and constantly spoke his mind, always self-advocating himself as the best. He did not shy away from taking a swipe at Balotelli.

Sports Brief also previously reported on Ibrahimovic sending a cheeky message to Olivier Giroud, telling him he had 'found a new position' in his 'old age'.
Milan took advantage of the striker's heroics in goal and printed 'Giroud 9' shirts, which sold out in less than a day. Ibra also requested one of the shirts.
