  • However, a bizarre shot by the midfielder has resurfaced, which has since sparked trolling from fans

Real Madrid's Federico Valverde has consistently displayed his remarkable shot technique and power on numerous occasions.

Most recently, Valverde demonstrated his striking ability by securing a crucial victory for Los Blancos in their away match against Napoli.

He unleashed a thunderous shot from the edge of the box, clinching the winning goal, as reported by Diario AS.

While the 25-year-old midfielder has earned widespread acclaim for his long-range shooting abilities, a video has resurfaced showcasing a rather unusual shot he took, sparking fan trolling.

Valverde's bizarre shot resurfaces

During Real Madrid's 3-2 defeat to Rayo Vallecano at Vallecas, Valverde attempted a shot in the 10th minute that went wildly off target, soaring out of the stadium and into the twin towers located to the east of the stadium.

The ball eventually found its way into a room of one of the tower occupants, as seen in a video posted by ESPN FC, leading to a barrage of humorous reactions on social media.

Without delay, several fans chimed in with their humorous responses:

@Eesa Suomi playfully teased Valverde's decision-making with the post:

"IQ IQ IQ 😂😂."

@Daniel Ichim commented,

"Valverde either scores a banger or the shot goes over the stadium."

@kobe, clearly unimpressed by the shot, posted,

"Horrible shot."

@glufomounis69 expressed surprise, stating,

"Valverde's shot landed inside their house?"

Finding humour in the event that unfolded @Ashley posted:

"Laughing out loud - this is too funny!"

While Valverde's thunderous strikes sometimes miss their intended targets by a considerable margin, Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping the Uruguayan can replicate the kind of spectacular strike he delivered at the Stadio Diego Maradona, when Real Madrid faces Diego Alonso's Sevilla in La Liga.

Bellingham speaks on Real Madrid future

Sports Brief also previously reported on Jude Bellingham explaining his Real Madrid plans and how long he fancies staying at the Spanish giants.

The English midfielder, who has settled seamlessly into the plans of Ancelotti, has heralded the spotlights with his string of impressive displays.

Bellingham, during his post-match conference following England's Euro qualifier win over Italy, said Real Madrid was where he wanted to be.
