A quest for riches and glory could not have begun more dramatically.
Mamelodi Sundowns and TS Galaxy got the Carling Knockout Cup off to an electric start at the Mbombela Stadium in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.

TS Galaxy debutant, Fiacre Ntwari was the hero between the sticks, sending Tim Sukazi and TS Galaxy into the quarter-finals with two important saves.
