  • Andreas Christensen has been left embittered by Jude Bellingham's performances at Real Madrid
  • The Englishman has taken to life at Madrid like a duck to water, firing on all cylinders
  • But the Barcelona defender is 'not happy' with Bellingham's impressive display since joining Los Blancos

Andreas Christensen has shed light on Jude Bellingham's explosive start to life at Real Madrid.

Bellingham has seamlessly adapted to life in the Spanish capital, amassing 13 goal contributions (10 goals and three assists) in his first ten appearances across all competitions for Madrid.

The 20-year-old's exceptional start for the White Angels earned him one La Liga Player of the Month award within three months of his debut in the Spanish top division, One Football reports.

Despite his remarkable performance, his success has seemingly stirred some rivalry, with Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen expressing his disappointment each time the former Borussia Dortmund captain scores, contributing to Madrid's triumphs.

"It's annoying when you sit and see the results, and then he [Bellingham] has scored in the last... I don't know how many matches, as you say," Christensen told Danish TV2 as cited by Tribuna.

Despite his reservations about Bellingham's impressive start, the ex-Chelsea defender openly acknowledged it, also offering praise for Madrid's present squad.

"He has taken the league by storm, it must be said. They [Real Madrid] have really got a good player," he added.

Meanwhile, Christensen will have the opportunity to pull the breaks on Bellingham when Barca hosts Madrid in the first instalment of the most significant match on the Spanish football calendar and, by extension, the paramount clash in club football, famously known as El Clasico on October 28.

Bellingham ranks high among most valuable players

Sports Brief also reported that Bellingham's exceptional performance in Spain has had a favourable impact on the most recent rankings of the top 10 most valuable players globally, with Real Madrid's stars dominating the list.

In this recent release of the most valuable players globally, the English midfielder secured the second position, trailing behind his fellow teammate, Vinicius Jr.

Bellingham, who has made an impressive start to his career in Spain, is currently estimated to be valued at €250 million, according to the CIES Football Observatory.
