Legends of African football arrived at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations draw dazzling in their suit and tie.

The former players alongside some current footballers showed high fashion sense while others arrived in their African-made kaftan.

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations draw is currently ongoing in Abidjan at the Parc Des Expositions.

In photos shared on social media, former Ghana defender Anthony Baffoe, 2013 AFCON winner Yaya Toure and Cameroon legend Geremi Njitap were spotted suited in their all-black coats.

The draw will see 24 countries paired in six groups of four nations each.

Senegal, the defending champions have been seeded in Pot 1 alongside seven-time winners Egypt, World Cup semi-finalist Morocco and host Ivory Coast.

Meanwhile, Ghana and Nigeria will avoid each other in the group after being potted in the same lot.

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations is expected to provided huge excitement on the continent as the best compete for the ultimate early next year, as reported by ghanasoccernet.

Ghana will be chasing a fifth title when they make a short trip to their neighbours in January.

Ghana will avoid Nigeria in AFCON group

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the Black Stars of Ghana will avoid West African rivals Nigeria in the group stage of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Both teams have been grouped in Pot 2 of the draw, which will be held on October 12, 2023, in Abidjan.

The twenty-four teams that have qualified for the tournament in Ivory Coast have been placed in four pots of six nations each.

Mane anticipates tough AFCON 2023 draw

Senegal and Al Nassr forward, Sadio Mane expects an exciting 2023 Africa Cup of Nations draw in Abidjan, Ivory Coast on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

The former Liverpool winger arrived in Abidjan on Wednesday as a special guest for the draw as Senegal looks to defend their title.

Mane played a pivotal role as the Teranga Lions won their first-ever AFCON title, scoring the winning penalty against Egypt in the final last year.
