In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Osimhen and Chukwueze pretended to be bus conductors as they took a ride on one of the mini-cars at training.

The Super Eagles have started preparing for next month's World Cup qualifiers as well as the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast next year.

The three-time African champions will know their group opponents after the draw in Abidjan on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

Nigeria have been seeded in Pot 2 alongside perennial rivals Ghana due to their FIFA Coca-Cola rankings, as reported by Guardian.ng.

The West African football powerhouse will be hoping to win the tournament for the fourth time, ten years after their latest triumph.

Chukwueze opens up on Osimhen's role

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Nigeria forward Samuel Chukwueze insists he consulted Victor Osimhen before deciding to join Italian giants AC Milan.

The 24-year-old signed a five-year deal to join the Rossoneris from Spanish club Villareal.

The talented winger is buzzing to get started with the former Italian champions, stating his excitement after sealing the move.

George Weah backs Osimhen for Ballon d'Or

Africa's only Ballon d'Or winner, George Weah believes Victor Osimhen can become the continent's next recipient of football's most coveted individual award.

The 24-year-old forward made history by leading Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years last season.

Osimhen also broke Weah's long-standing record as the African player with the most goals in Serie A after scoring for Napoli against Fiorentina earlier this year.
