Ronaldo reacts to Mane doing the Sujood

In a video seen by Sports Brief, Ronaldo was all smiles after seeing Mane doing the Sujood after scoring in one of Al-Nassr's games this season.

According to Al-Islam, Sujood is an Arabic word meaning prostration to God in the direction of the Ka'ba at Mecca, which is usually done during daily prayers.

A Muslim is to praise and glorify Allah while in Sujood. The position involves having the forehead, nose, both hands, knees and all toes touching the ground together.

Mane and Ronaldo's partnership

The former Liverpool star has formed a dynamic duo with Ronaldo since joining the Knights of Najd from Bayern Munich in the summer.

The Senegalese international has scored six league goals with two assists, while the former Real Madrid forward got ten goals and five assists, according to TransferMarkt.

Both players and Brazilian forward Anderson Talisca have been the reason for Al-Nassr's blistering form in the league this season.

Mane mobbed by fans during Friday prayers

Sports Brief earlier reported on the former Liverpool forward finding himself surrounded by enthusiastic fans as Mane arrived at a mosque in Riyadh recently.

The legions of fans, who were thrilled to meet their beloved Senegalese idol, approached the reigning Africa Player of the Year for photos and autographs.

A video circulating on social media captured Mane graciously accommodating the group, who had gathered at the mosque for the customary Jumaa prayer.
