Vini's cheeky goal vs Osasuna

After receiving a perfectly timed through-ball from Fede Valverde, the 23-year-old skillfully controlled the ball, creating a momentary hesitation before calmly placing it into the back of the net.

According to BBC, his decision to delay his shot left Sergio Herrera stranded and allowed him to round the goalkeeper before slotting home from close range.

Vini names best goal of his career

Relatedly, Sports Brief reported that Vinicius Jr.'s journey from a promising Brazilian talent to one of Europe's top players is a footballing evolution that leaves observers in awe.

The Brazilian forward was recently asked to choose the best goal of his career thus far.

In a somewhat surprising choice, Vini picked the two-yard tap-in he scored during the UEFA Champions League final against Liverpool in Paris, despite having scored some spectacular goals, including a match-winner against Sevilla in November 2021.

Bellingham, Vini star in Madrid win

Sports Brief also reported on Jude Bellingham maintaining his exceptional form by scoring twice as Real Madrid secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Osasuna, propelling them back to the summit of La Liga on Saturday.

Vinicius Junior increased Madrid's advantage after a well-timed pass from Valverde sent him clear on goal. The Brazilian calmly navigated around goalkeeper Herrera before slotting the ball into the net.

The winger then turned provider for the fourth goal, assisting on-loan striker Joselu, who joyfully converted for his fifth league goal in his last six matches.
