- Manchester United are down by a goal against Brentford as Old Trafford
Andre Onana's nightmarish start to his career at Manchester United continues after conceding another easy goal as Brentford take an early lead in the Premier League game at Old Trafford.
The Cameroonian shot-stopper in an attempt to parry Mathias Jensen's curler saw the ball pass right beneath his arm.
Onana's who joined the Red Devils in the summer transfer window, has come under intense pressure following his failure to meet expectations.
In a video shared on social media, Onana stretched enough to get a hold of the ball but could not keep it out.
Meanwhile, the English giants have already lost three home games this season, including two in the Premier League. The latest was in the UEFA Champions League against Galatsaray in midweek.
The Red Devils have only won three Premier League games this season and are nine points behind leaders Manchester City, who face Arsenal on Sunday.
Manchester United will be hoping to bounce back before the international break next week.
Erik ten Hag backs Andre Onana
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Erik ten Hag has launched a passionate defence of Andre Onana in the wake of his costly mistakes in the Champions League.
Onana was between the sticks on Tuesday night when United hosted Galatasaray for their second Group A game at Old Trafford.
However, the Cameroonian did little to help his side earn a positive result, with his costly mistakes denying the hosts the three points.

Andre Onana was on the spot once again as he produced a couple of howlers in Manchester United’s defeat to Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, October 4.
The Red Devils now have an uphill task if they are to proceed to the knockout stages after a second successive defeat in the group stages left the English club bottom of Group A.
In a highly engaging game, the home side had been a joy to watch going forward but were at times guilty of seemingly 'falling asleep' at the back, especially after going ahead.
