Nigerian singer Davido sent teeming fans in New Zealand wild during his sold-out concert on Friday night, October 6.
Davido headlined and performed at the Eden Festival in New Zealand alongside some other artistes from around the world.
The ‘Feel It’ crooner took his performance to a new level when he brought UFC superstar Israel Adesanya on stage.
Adesanya was born in Nigeria but resides in Auckland, New Zealand, where he has continued with his professional Mixed Martial Arts career.
Davido was in town for the 25th Anniversary of “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”, an event which also featured popular artistes like Koffee, Iam Tongi, Katcha Fire, Sammy J, DJ Noiz and a host of others, Stuff Nz reports.
While delivering his performance, Davido welcomed Israel Adesanya on stage as the pair delivered an energetic ‘Unavailable’ entertainment.
Davido fails to turn up in Warri
Meanwhile, the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, has called out Afrobeats singer Davido for failing to show up at the 19th edition of Warri Again.
The FIFA executive alleged that the ‘Feel It’ crooner had received $94,600 for his performance at the event in Delta State scheduled for October 6 as well.
Pinnick further claimed that a chartered plane was arranged to convey the singer and his team to Warri, which cost the state another $18,000.
Adesanya loses at UFC 293
Sports Brief earlier reported that in September, Sean Strickland defeated Israel Adesanya at UFC 293 to become the promotion's new middleweight king.
Strickland stunned MMA fans everywhere with his victory over Adesanya at UFC 293. He entered the match as a heavy +450 underdog, but he was the one who dominated in this fight.
