Jude Bellingham’s exceptional performance at Real Madrid shows no signs of slowing down.
Since completing his record-breaking £103 million move to the Spanish capital from Borussia Dortmund, he has found the back of the net eight times in addition to three assists, earning numerous awards and nominations.
Once again, he found himself in contention for a prestigious La Liga award, the Player of the Month Prize, according to reports from Tribuna.
Bellingham was nominated alongside other standout players, including Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski, Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo, Athletic Club’s Inaki Williams, and the promising star from Girona, Savio Oliviera.
Although Bellingham was considered a strong contender to secure the award, the 20-year-old midfielder missed out to a former Real Madrid player.
Bellingham misses out on La Liga award
Having recently been named Real Madrid’s Player of the Month for the second consecutive month for August, the England international had his sights set on winning his second La Liga award in as many months. However, it was Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo who emerged as the recipient of the honour in September, as reported by LaLiga.com.
The Japanese international Kubo played a pivotal role in his team’s resurgence throughout September, contributing to three goals and providing an assist. Winning the Player of the Month award was a well-deserved recognition for the former Los Blancos player, who also secured the Man of the Match title on three occasions.
Bellingham now looks ahead to the challenge of regaining the Player of the Month title as he dons Real Madrid’s jersey for their upcoming home fixture against Jacoba Arrasate’s Osasuna side.

Sports Brief in a previous report stated Bellingham has been named Real Madrid player of the month for the second consecutive month.
The 20-year-old who has contributed to eight goals and provided three assists, as per data from Whoscored, was once more named Mahou Player of the Month by the club’s official beverage sponsor.
This recognition placed him ahead of esteemed competitors such as veteran midfielder Toni Kroos, French sensation Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, and Aurelien Tchoumeni.
