Nigerian international, Victor Boniface, has declared his love for one English Premier League side after disclosing the first football kit he owned during an exclusive interview.
The 22-year-old striker has been one of the most talked about players in Europe since the start of the 2023-24 season due to his performances in the German Bundesliga.
The Super Eagles star joined Bayer Leverkusen in the summer from Belgian side Union SG, and has since been a sensational addition to Xabi Alonso's team.
In an interview with UEFA TV, as per Soccernet, the Leverkusen striker disclosed the first football kit he owned.
The interviewer asked:
"First football kit you ever owned?"
Boniface answered:
"Arsenal."
Arsenal are one of the top sides in the English Premier League and could opt to sign the Nigerian striker next summer if he maintains his form until the end of the season.
The Gunners will face tough competition from other top European clubs if they are genuinely interested in signing the Leverkusen striker.
He was recently linked with a move to Arsenal's rivals Manchester City, with teams like Atletico Madrid and Juventus also showing interest in him.
