Nigerian legendary midfielder, Austin Jay Jay Okocha has shared his thoughts on Samuel Chukwueze's recent move to AC Milan.
The Super Eagles forward switched sides in the summer as he dumped La Liga side, Villarreal for the Italian giants.
Chukwueze is yet to stake his claim on the Rossoneri's main squad and has only started one game this season in the Serie A.
During an exclusive interview with Livescores, per Complete Sports, Okocha stated the Nigerian international had been outstanding in the last few years and also shared insight into the challenges he will face at his new club.
"He's been faced with a new challenge, and it's all about how quickly he can adjust. Language is always important because it’s always good to be able to communicate but his talent is never in doubt."
The Super Eagles legend also claimed that the former Villarreal forward is a great addition to coach, Stefano Pioli's side.
"I think he is a great addition to the Milan team, and I have no doubt that he will do well," Okocha concluded.
Chukwueze is still in search of his first goal for the Serie A outfit and will be in action in their next game against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, October 4.
Chukwueze chatted with Osimhen before Milan move
Sports Brief previously reported on Chukwueze claiming he consulted Victor Osimhen before deciding to join Italian giants, AC Milan during the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old signed a five-year deal with the Rossoneri. The talented winger is buzzing to get started with the club, stating his excitement after sealing the move.
Chukwueze will face his international teammate, Osimhen in the Serie A, with the winger explaining he spoke to last season's top scorer before he chose to move to Italy.
