Leicester City are back on top of the EFL Championship as Super Eagles stars Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi impressed in their 4-1 away win over Blackburn Rovers on Sunday afternoon.
The Foxes needed a win to move back on top of the table after Ipswich Town dropped points in their 1-1 draw against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
Leicester City were on the losing side in their last game against Liverpool in the EFL Cup but bounced back with a resounding victory over Rovers in the Championship.
The Foxes took the lead very early in the game after Ghanaian international Issahaku Abdul Fatawu set up Wout Faes, according to Soccernet.
The home side levelled things up five minutes later through Sammie Szmodics, but a wonderful pass from Ndidi set up Jamie Vardy as the visitors restored their lead.
Enzo Maresca’s side continued to dominate the game, with Super Eagles star Iheanacho coming from the bench to score from the penalty spot.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sealed the victory for Leicester City by adding the fourth goal very late in the game.
The Foxes are now two points ahead of second-placed Ipswich Town with Preston North End following both teams closely in third position.
